Age 44
When I was listening to a sermon one Sunday about the power of Jesus' name and our calling as believers to "...go and make disciples..." (Matthew 28:19-20) and "...to be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have..." (1 Peter 3:15), I felt nudged by the Spirit to come up with a way to put the name of Jesus in the public square, challenge believers to share their faith and help those in need. What came to mind was a simple slogan, "Ask Me About Jesus". Nothing spectacular. Nothing earth-shattering. Nothing new really. Now, if we printed that phrase on a shirt and each time a shirt was purchased, we sent another type of shirt to those in need, our goal would be accomplished: the believer would have to be willing to put that shirt on and be prepared to answer the question, the name of Jesus would be in the public square, and a person who needed a shirt would get one. Three birds with one shirt, so to speak. Anyway, it didn't take much for Charlie, Ian and Craig to take that idea and improve upon it and unleash the cause on the world. We pray every day that at least one person will put the shirt on, at least one person will ask, at least one person will see the name of Jesus and at least one person who needs a shirt will get one. One shirt. One message. 6 billion reasons.
